I used them and they were a hit!

Good to throw ideas around - there are so many neat ways to address registries these days. Good for us! :o)

? I don't know how you could do it either unless you print them up yourself otherwise I would think that would be kind of costly. I was actually thinking of printing them myself (not as placecards but with our names/date). If you are interested, I can let you know what success I have with it. It can't be too hard and can be done for the price of the hershey bars and they are really inexpensive at BJs or price club. We definitely want to do them. A little clip art & glue can go a long way for those extra touches

Good Luck

I plan on having them made and leaving a space on the front where we can print clear labels (in a shape not necessarily mailing type labels)--some companies will print the line and table # space where you can handwrite it but I think that looks tacky-I am not a fan of handwriting the place cards even if they were regular place cards---

it is very easy to do-- but I am not sure I want the hassle--that is why i am kind of on the fence about it-- I found a few sites that are pretty inexpensive-- the last one from canada gave me an amazing price but i am not sure of the quality

LOL,

I am not real creative so I think I just might stick to the picture frame idea for the place cards and then do the chocolate bars as a small favor..

It was a company on line called Carlson. I can't find the site, but they were perfect when they arrived and about 168 for 120 bars. Everyone loved them. I believe if you type in 'HERETHEYARE Candy Bars' you'll get plenty of sites.

Elena was expensive. She charged $40 for a trial & $225 for the day. Extra people are $40 for hair & $40 for make-up. PRICEY, but I never wear make-up and have had some makeovers in the past and I can honestly tell you that I have never looked so good, while still looking like myself and not feeling like I had 3 tons of makeup on. Which was important to me. Plus after the trial my now husband saw me and he couldn't stop staring. Plus the polaroid I took looked awesome, and polaroids never look good.

Chocolate Bar Wrappers ?

I haven't just yet figured that out. I will definitely let you know what I come up with if you are interested. We have just moved this weekend so as soon as I settle in, I'm going to work on it.

Wearkstatt is one of the couture designers featured on The Knot, so you can check out some of their designs in the dress search area to see if their style is for you, but be warned that those are fairly old designs, as I find The Knot does not update their dress search frequently. Let me know if you have any other questions!

I think $150 per bar is a lot-- we are not using these as our favors-- just something 'extra' that I wanted to do -- there are plenty of companies that are cheaper than that

I ordered my dress from RK Bridals and so far have been very pleased. I went to the showroom though.

I want it for something extra also. My mom priced the chocolate bars at Costco for me this weekend. They were $10.79 for a package of 36. Since I am making the labels for the wine bottle favors with Print Shop, I figure that I can make the candy wrappers to coordinate and use them as the place cards.
Anyway...her reception room had tulle with lights, strung up on different sides to the middle, very romantic. The food was great. Cocktail hour was skimpy, but it was still good, I did eat!:o)
