New Spare Bedroom Set - with Pics

I've been trying to furnish our new house (bought last Oct)...but since we had the wedding this past August I wasn't really able to spend much on the house.

Since the master bedroom is done, i thought we'd furnish the Spare bedroom - we have lots of guests...anyway, my DH didn't think we really 'needed' to. I told him that I don't think we ever will really 'need to' since there is a bed in there now (no frame, tv sitting on an old dresser), but I'd like to start fixing up the house.

ANYWAY...here is what we bought yesterday from Pier 1 after much fuss from me

that's so gorgeous. i'm dreading the furniture shopping. we have a house now, but i want really nice furniture for our next house. so expensive! i love your taste!

That's really nice! I haven't been in a Pier 1 for so long. I didn't know they sold bedroom sets. How are their prices?

Their prices are pretty good...and the sales lady gave us some more tips for saving $$$. I bought the Bed in Full Size, 1 Armoire and 1 night stand for $1481 (with Tax)...then got 15% off by opening their Credit Card...so it came to $1288.

THEN...the set will be going on sale on Oct. 2... they give price adjustment within 90 days of purchase!! She thought maybe 10-15% more. So...the set will be really inexpensive by the time all is said and done....

We are technically paying cash for this since we are paying off the card at the 1st bill....we just wanted the discount!!!
