HELP horrible service at Bridal Reflections of Carle Place, anyone else have problems?

I have had nothing but terrible customer service at this store. I can never speak to anyone on the phone, I am put on hold for hours and recently found out that my 12 bridesmaids dresses are in but nobody bothered to call me and tell me. I had to hear it from my little cousin, one of the bridesmaids. More than that, my friend tried to make an appointment for a fitting and was made to feel like she was asking too much. I have spoken to the manager several times, but they forget your name from day to day, and tonight I left an obnoxious voice mail. I don't know what to do anymore. I want my bridesmaids (all 12 of them plus a flowergirl) to have a good experience, and its been nothing but a hassle. Sorry for the rant...any advice???

I'm sorry, but I cant stand those people. I will never go in there again. I went in there-it was the first palce i went to ttry on dresses and it ruined the whole experience for me. I had been there before for other bridal party stuff with my friends and I knew they were snotty, but this lady who helped me made me feel poor and all she wanted to hear was my price range. They think who they are and I cannot stand them. I know other people who got lucky and had really good experiences but not me. Sorry to hear about yours. They should be doing whatever they can to help you

I point blank HATE them! I have nothing nice to say about those snobby wenches.

They physically blocked me from seeing their bridesmaid dresses..BAH

I wish it was ALL happy experiences with planning a wedding... unfortunatley it isn't always... BOO HOOO...

i've never bought anything there, but have been in there 3 times to inquire about several bm dresses...

but i have read plenty of horro stories about them...if you do a search, i am sure you will find them, and they were stories from brides not even bm's...sorry you had to go through this

Sorry you are going through this. I didn't get my BM dresses there, but got my wedding gown there and I had a very good experience. Sorry - I would keep talking to the manager of the department and possibly the store. Good Luck!

when i was looking we went there and i didnt like the way some of the people treated me or my girls so we didnt use them. but i have also heard good things about them as well

I am really surprised to hear that,
I have had a great experience there. I would call Christina Demarco. She has been my contact (as well as some of my friends) She is the manager. I would express your disappointment to her. I am sure she can help you.

Wow - sorry to hear that. I had my BMs try dresses on there (but we bought them on NetBride - heh heh) and I bought my gorgeous veil and pocketbook there. I didn't have any problems at all. I guess I just had good luck?

that stinks...i found my dress there, but ordered it from massapequa. so far they have been great there.

I was not happy with the service there either. I made an appt. to try on BM dresses and nobody would help us or answer any questions...they said write down questions and call during the week. I couldnt believe.

I also tried on a few wedding gowns another time and the woman helping me stabbed me with a needle. Then she told me it was my fault because when you try on the dresses she should not be pinning it...that I should let it hang just really look at the detail of the dresses....again...I have NEVER heard that before!!

I'm so sorry you are experiencing sucy horrible service. I got my gown there and everything has been wonderful... I also got my BM gowns from the Massapequa location.

I suggest two things:

1. Ask for Christina DeMarco and tell her what you've been experiencing -- she's one of the part owners/mgrs or something like that and she's always been wonderful with me

2. If you are still unsatisfied, ask if you can have your BM dresses transferred to the Massapequa store and maybe you'll get better service.

Like I said, I'm sorry you are having a bad experience with them, I also heard the horror stories before I got my gown there, but I've been treated wonderfully (and I'm not by any means rich so it's not that!!)

Ohhh I am sorry. I went with my 3 BMs about a month or so ago and I thought the girl that helped me was a sweetheart and so helpful. She was teaching us about what dresses go with what body types, etc. We didnt get our dresses there b/c RK had better prices but I ordered my gown from the one in Massapequa.

My sister got her dress from there, but along time ago. I don't remember much about the service, as I was 19 and I'm 30 now, lol. But all I hear are negative things about them, I'm not really sure why anyone goes there anymore.

Yeah, my MOH got her wedding dress there 4 years ago. Price was not an issue for her as it is for most of us so I guess she was well taken care of by all vendors.

I too hated BR. They sent me off to their Massapequa store... thankfully, I got my dress at Macy's - much nicer people so I got to cancel the Pequa appt.

I've been all over the Island looking and have heard horror stories about ALL of them. I finally did choose Bridal Reflections, I really liked them, went to both locations and found them to be very nice. I didn't even have my date or hall picked out when I found my dress and my consultant explained I might choose differently if I knew what season I was getting married. I couldn't believe she was so UN-PUSHY. We decided to get married in the summer b/c of the dress I absolutely LOVE. Its a Yolanda Couture.
