Anyone in the Patchogue Area?

Does anyone know where River Ave is? Is it a nice area...There is a house we saw in the paper.....and the real estate said it was near river Ave....any help?

I grew up in Patchogue. River Ave. isn't the greatest of areas in my opinion. They have redone alot of houses on the block but it still isn't the greatest of areas to live in.

If it is south of the train tracks, it is a nice area (on the water). If it is north of the tracks, then not so nice.

River Ave. is not that great. Run down and littered with illegal housing. I know this because my good friend owns a condo all the way at the end and he told me!!
