The Snapper Inn is really nice....I think it is in Oakdale? Also Riverview is very nice, next door to the Snapper Inn, both right on the water with great views.

Would you consider Islip, Bayshore?

What kind of restaurant are you looking for? There are a lot of cute bar type restaurants in Sayville and I think an expensive place too. I'll get the names, but what's your price range?

I live in Sayville. Here's some of my picks:

1. Riverview (Oakdale)- Seafood/american . On the water- great view
2. Tai Show (Oakdale)- Japanese/Sushi
3. Michales (Sayville) - american . very nice but pricy
4. Georges (Sayville)- german. very nice
5. Colins and Main (Sayville) I've never been there but I hear its great.
6. Snapper Inn(Oakdale)- Right next to the Riverview. I prefer teh Riverview over this.
7. Mazzie's (BayPort)-italian/american New resteraunt. Never ate there. Looks really nice.

I vote Riverview. I have a lot of family gatherings there. I also go for my Bday there every year.

a VERY small place in Blue point/Bayport is Cilantro's AWESOME FOOD

Beachtree Cafe in Islip...great food, nice atmosphere, and casual

Sonoma Grill in Holbrook on Sunrise Hwy

I would recommend Collins and Main..the food is great. I know the owners very well.

Try The Crazy Dog rest in Sayville. I had my shower there, the food was awesome, and the decor was cute. They have a room off to the side of the main dining room. Good luck!!

I've been to Cilantro's also. There food is excellent!
