Do you mean grape or vineyard? In either case, I prefer chardonnay - two I've really liked recently are Kistler (uber-expensive, and unavailable retail - someone managed to get a bottle for my dad, though) and a Chassagne-Montrachet, but I don't remember the vineyard or producer.

Simi Chardonnay & Neibaum-Coppola Chardonnay at the moment.

I also love Osprey's Dominion Regia Maris really cold in the summer.

I love Cakebread Sauv. Blanc. But my favorite by far is Sonoma Cuitrere (god i slaughtered that spelling on that) chardoney. it is moderatly priced, but i don't think they sell it retail.

I have a new Favourite... I just tried it last week when I had a small dinner party.... Tomassi V. LaRosse... Pinot Grigio. Vrey good & not at all expensive.

I am also a big fan of Pindar Winter Wite.

I LOVE Santa Margherita Pino Grigio!!! Definitely my favorite white. Although, I definitely prefer red.

My current favorite, which would be quite difficult to get your hands on, is Truro Vineyards American Vignoles. We found it on our minimoon and I fell in love with it!

I like reislings in general.

I'm partial to anything from the Finger Lakes too, though they're surprisingly hard to find down here. But we love to go up to the wineries- it's really relaxed and fun.

I also like Luna di Luna's chardonnay/pinot grigio blend and Lindemans wine is pretty good.

!!! It is my most favorite wine. I like their reserve chardonnay as well, but I definitely like the SB the best. If you're ever here in the SF Bay area, you should definitely go to their winery up in Napa. Its our favorite!
