FH wearing white or ivory tie with tux? Does the tie show up in pics?

We went to look at tuxes today (see pics below). FH is probably going to wear the ivory shirt with ivory tie (my dress is ivory). But the tie doesn't show up much in the picture--is anyone else concerned about this? Our other option is the champagne tie (the other picture), which as of now the groomsmen are going to wear.

we are doing all ivory for FH and champagne for the GM... I totally see what you are saying, but if your FH goes with the champagne, what will the GM wear? what is the color of the BM's dress?

ETA: i don't think it will be a big deal in the professional pics, but i can see where the concern is in the amateur ones

Personally, I like the ivory better. What did you two pick out for the BM and GM?

Heehee he does not know his picture is online for everyone to see I think the BM and GM will all wear the champagne, and the dads will wear the black ties. I kind of wanted G (FH) to wear black, but he was against wearing the black tie.

The BM dresses are burgundy, so I think the champagne will go well. When he wanted the champagne color for himself, we were going to have the BM and GM wear the black, along with the dads. They had a reddish tie and vest, but it didn't go exactly with the BM dresses so I thought it might clash...

I hope the ivory shows up in the professional pics. better than in did from my digital camera ones...I am still a little worried....

Gregg looks great in his tux! I definitely think he should go with the ivory tie too!

It could very well look different in professional pictures as I imagine the color would be different and the images will be crisper. I wouldn't worry!

Thanks Michelle! Hope everything is going well with you--congrats on getting your invites!! I can't believe how quickly our months are coming up!! We will have to all have another GTG before life gets too crazy (and before we are all married women!).

we went tux shopping yesterday too!! FH is wearing an ivory shirt with an ivory vest and tie. In fact, all the men who will be in tuxedos (dads and grandads included) will have ivory shirts. it looks the best and most uniform in pictures and the tie will def. show up in pics, i think! Where did you go? We went to GINOS in Farmingdale--we were there for 3 hours-they were great!! Our GM are wearing ivory shirts with a black vest & champagne tie! looks AWESOME!!

All of our men will have ivory shirts too! We went to RSVP in Bay Shore, but we actually drove by Gino's today when we went to the BBB in Farmingdale to finish registering! That is so nice that they spent so long with you--we weren't there for too long, but FH tried on a few options. It's getting soon!

My FH is wearing platinum and the GM are wearing powder blue to match the girls
