Do any of you mom's have any advice for moms-2-be?

I'm not expecting, but I expect to be at the end of the year.

Please share any suggestions, tips, advice, or stories about being pregnant, and having an infant.

Thanks in advance.

Wow, your mind is all over the place. BOOKS have been written on these topics. (I'm joking with you, actually. I hope that's obvious.)

I think it's wonderful that you and your husband are planning ahead. The first thing that comes to mind is to relax, let nature take its course and don't let pregnancy consume your thoughts and time. That puts added pressure on yourselves and that's not always the way it works. God willing you will become pregnant rather quickly and then you will be getting advice from everyone you know, whether you want it or not. If there is anything specific you want to know from me, please feel free to ask. I've done it four times, and only once was it a total surprise. So I was lucky.

Good luck. Keep us posted!

Mary

I have to agree totally with LImom. I've only had the joy of 2 children, and I loved every moment of both pregancies.

due to medical problems with my first child, we chose to wait until all her surgerys were complete. In April, 1982, she had yet another operation, we asked our blessed surgeon when the next would be, he said it woud be a while. Low and behold, June 1982, we were announcing our 2nd child.

God knew that I needed to tend to my daughters needs, and when he felt I was ready to bring another child into the world, he helped make it happen.

God does provide and watch over us.
good luck and hoped that my little story added to LIMom's words.

Re: Do any of you mom's have any advice for moms-2-be?

Thanks, to the both of you, for the words of encouragement. FH & I definitely plan on letting nature take it's course. There's no way that I'll let getting pregnant (after the wedding ) overcrowd my thoughts... I still have a lot of things to iron out with the wedding. I don't know what I didn't think of that '... then you will be getting advice from everyone you know...' - that is so true. If everyone is putting their two cents with wedding suggestions, I can just imagine when babies are on their way... that should be fun!

But you're right. God will know when we are ready to have kids... and I can't wait until he blesses us with that.

I'll keep you posted after Sept.
