Our officiant is coming to our house on Tuesday. Should I offer him anything to eat?

He'll be here at 1pm. I was going to put on some coffee but didn't know if I should offer any snacks. Anyone know the etiquette on this one?

Should I make something? Any ideas on what? If it were morning, I'd probably make muffins and have bagels. But it's afternoon......hmmmmmmm......

How about some coffee or tea and cookies and maybe a coffe cake of some kind? I wouldn't go too overboard. Just a little snack.

i would put out some crackers and cheese, or veggies and dip, something like that..

I would set out some cheese and crackers and offer him something to drink (iced tea maybe?)

Sorry, I don't think you could hire our officiant....we live in Maine.
Anyway, yes, this is our first meeting with him but I don't know if most normally visit at your home. It was his idea.
