Did anyone do a road trip for their honeymoon?
Did anyone do a few different states for their honeymoon like a road trip? What states? We love the outdoors!

Re: Did anyone do a road trip for their honeymoon?
I DID!! And it was the best trip of our lives. We rented a ford expedition for three weeks and drove cross country. We had the best time and even though everyone said we would fight a lot, because we would be in the car so much, we didn't have one fight our whole honeymoon. We stayed a week in California and a week in Vegas. Then we went to the grand canyon in Arizona, Roswell New Mexico, we stopped in Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas, Illinois, Missouri, and a whole bunch more. It was such a wonderful trip and we have such a gorgeous country. We took the southern route across the country because we went in February, but we are planning another trip cross country in the future and we are going to go the northern route to see the rest of the country. If you do do this, make sure you take at least three weeks. You definitely need that much to see it all and drive and be relaxed!!! Let me know if you need any info!!

If you didn't have 3 weeks to do it, you could still map out a great trip staying a little closer to home. You could do a New England road trip and stay in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine, etc... You could also drive down the east coast, making stops in Ocean City, DC, the Carolinas and down to Florida.

Re: Did anyone do a road trip for their honeymoon?
We've done road trips, but we're technically not planning one for our honeymoon. Our longest was a ten day southern road trip.
We spent various nights in four different states. It was awesome. I'd like to drive west, but FH said: Absolutely not.
