Color Scheme Questions

Getting married at the Carlyle in early August on a Sunday night.

Having problems deciding on color scheme.

I really want high red rose candelabra's.... I want red roses everywhere!

What color bridesmaid dresses do you think I should do? I can't think of any other dress colors besides black that would do with their bouquets of red roses.

Any suggestions on how I can incorporate red roses into another color? I was thinking cranberry or burgendy dresses for the girls, but what color bouquet then?

I just don't want it to look too dark, but I love red roses!

maybe silver or champagne

i agree i think silver dresses would love great with red roses. i think they look classy and compliment most skin tones.

I love red roses too! My wedding colors are going to be different shades of red. My BMs are going to wear red and carry shades of red roses including bright and deep red roses. I think it will look cool. Another bride had all red and it looked very cool and dramatic. Here is my bouquet with 3 different shades of red.

Found the pictures. The Brides id was SusanS she had amazing pictures. She did red dresses with red and burgundy flowers. Her BMs carried burgundy callas.

I have chosen red and white as my theme colors. My c-pieces will be all red roses and I want my bo-k to be deep red roses and dark calla lilies. The altar peices at church will be all white roses with a few red mixed in and the pew bows will be one white and one red rose on ecah. I have chosen cranberry to be the color of the girls dresses and they are going to carry bo-ks of all white roses. My MOH and JRBM will have mixed red and white rose bo-k's. Good luck!

more pics... I love the table with the different size pilars. We have the same florist so he is going to do that for my dias table too...woohoo!

Maybe I should just do cream rose candelabra's with lite pink or blue dresses... carrying cream roses....

My girls are wearing wine and will have cream roses
I will have all dark red roses
my centerpiece is candles with all red roses
I wanted red roses everywhere too

definitely not! if you love red roses, then have them no matter what! who cares what people keep saying?! it's YOUR wedding and i think you should go with your vision.

BriBri... that's beautiful but my sister did champagne and friend is doing it too so I wanted something different....


I just feel like since it is summer I should do something summer looking....

I am going to see photographers and florisits this week so I think I will wait to see what the florist has to say!

My mom is now telling me I should do navy- which I love- it's so crisp looking, but with red roses?? to r/w/b/ looking i think!
