Transportation from reception hall to hotel after ceremony??????????

does anyone have any recommendation how to get a bus to do this????????

Who did you call? Limo companys? Does the hotel have a shuttle bus you can use?

what limo company are you using? I think they would give you a deal if you are already getting other services from them on that day.

Alot of hotels have shuttle buses that will shuttle you and/or your guests back to the hotel. That is what we are doing with the Hampton Inn hotel.

I booked Holiday Inn Express in Hauppauge. They provide a free shuttle as long as you have a certain number of rooms booked. This may be a deal with my hall though. The other hotels in the area did not offer this deal. I called and got crazy quotes like yours too.

We rented a bus that brought my guests to and from the hotel and the church (since the reception was at the hotel). MY sister-in-law used the same people to bring her guets to and from the reception and hotel--I think it was $500 for 12 hours--pretty reasonable--I will FM you the info as soon as I get it from my DH!

also try the little yellow school buses 0 bet you can get them cheap

we had priced them and they were OUTRAGEOUS, like $50 per ONE-WAY trip, meaning one round trip was $100 and no more than like 11 people could go in at a time...
BUT...classic transportation has a flat fee, like $300 or something. we are using them for our limo too and they are reasonable. www.classictrans.com.

The hotels usually have someone they use. The Marriot got a big bus for us back to the hotel and it wasn't expensive.

I looked into this and gave up. The limo company quoted us $125, but we figured it would just be cheaper to get them taxis then because the hotels are all very close to the hall. But then, the companies said they wouldnt do it anyway cause our wedding ends at 6pm on a Saturday and they have other weddings to prep for.

I think we are just going to ask immediate family to bring their vans and to have 1 van got to the train stations (for guests staying in NYC), another to the hotel 1 and the other to hotel 2.
