ebay sellers..how do you set a price?

I have a few wedding items I want to sell...how do you decide ona fair price? I cant remember what I paid for my wedding cake card holder from Lillian Vernon..I think it was 35? what would I try and sell it for? This whole ebay thing is new to me as far as selling! Thanks to anyone who can help me!

look at what similar items are going for. then try to set a resonable price for the item. it can be tricky, i mean you want to make some sort of profit, but you can't sell a $5 book for $100 - just an example. Fish around and see what things are going for, it'll help you get an idea.

I tried to compare prices..but I couldnt find anything under wedding cake card holders..maybe I didnt look hard enough! Ill keep trying...thanks!

try wedding accessories, they probably don't have a specific topic for the place card holders.

Always start your item low. This will draw bidders and you will hopefully have more bids that way. I have been on ebay since 99 and have been selling for the past few years. I love it! Ask me any questions you want. I am here to help.
