Ideas for a Wedding Party GTG???
I wanted to do a BBQ at my house, but that is out of the question because we have so much work going on and the house is just not 'presentable' in my Mom's eyes right now . . .FH suggested doing a BBQ at the beach, but I am not so sure about that . . .
I was thinking about maybe having something at eisenhower park, but I am not sure if they charge any fees and if it is at all possible to reserve an area for 25 people . . .
Does anyone have any ideas of something that is inexpensive, yet a good way of getting everyone together in a social situation??? TIA

What about the back room in a pizzaria? I'm sure if they're not booked for anything, they may not even charge you for the space if you promise the extra server/bussboy a good tip.

Did you see my post today on our get together last night. We did it at a local bar, open bar and food. We had 22 people and about 10 couldnt make it. It was great

I think having it at a local park could be sooo much fun!!! Im in NJ, so i dont know what it would cost you, in Jersey, they charge a small fee, but certain county parks wont allow liquor, some will...definately something to check into! You could BBQ, play vollyball, and eat really well..I think it would be fun and perfect for summer!!!! have fun!

I would stay away from Eisenhower park. We are having a birthday party for my nephew there and its turning out to be quite the problem. First, all non-nassau residents have to pay a parking fee which I think is ridiculous. Second, we wanted to rent the pavilion but it is a $250 charge. We decided to just use a section, but they dont reserve it. Someone would have to come early in the morning and sit there to hold the tables. Just seems like too much of a hassle.Welcome New Vendors
