Re: Can anyone recommend a credit card???
They have TONS of cards with 0% when you transfer your balance and it stays 0% for 6 months. Then you transfer that old balance to another card. Thats what FI does and it helps pay the debt off faster b/c he was spending about $75 in interest each month not that money goes towards the total debt.
My theory is... if they are offering us to rip them off then use it!!!

I did that with a Subaru Mastercard. I paid off my debt within the 9-month 0% introductory rate and when I went to cancel they were literally shocked and tried so hard to get me to stay. But I didn't want it. I used it to pay off my balance and I was done. - it was the first time I ever won over on a credit card
ETA: But you need to make sure you PAY PAY PAY it off, because once the introductory rate is over the rates are ridiculous!

Re: Can anyone recommend a credit card???
A lot of times interest rates are based on your credit score. Always remember banks are in the business of making money... watch out for hidden fees, annuals especially. Also if you credit rating is good, then call up the cards you have now and see if they will lower your rate. If you plan on looking for a house or buying a car anytime soon, you will be better off you work with your current creditors than go shopping for a new one. Just my 2 cents.
