Weight Watchers ONLINE... anybody try this?
I am interested in using the point calcuator, getting recipies, learning what is good to snack on, etc. Should I just sign up for etools which gives me access to this stuff or do I need to join the program (and spend more $$)? I don't know how many points I should have in a day so I guess that's why I should join the program. In a nutshell, they advertise the etools thing as a compliment to the weekly meetings, but I'm wondering if I can use that on my own.

I am actually not sure what the difference is. I thought eTools was for people who attend meetings, but also want access to online tools. Which is why it costs less that joining the regular online program.I'm not sure though, just my assumptions

Yes, etools is for people who go to meetings. But I'm wondering if I can use etools without going to meetings or joining the program online. I'm wondering if it would be useful just as a guide to the point values of different foods so I know which to avoid.

I joined online last year. $14.95/monthI found it helpful - informative; however, I joined the actual meeting with my mom last month. I've since cancelled my online membership.

i'm the opposite! meetings just didn't do it for me anymore. i suppose it's ecause i didn't really connect with anybody or my leader. i've since joined online and i loooove that it's cheaper and since i'm a computer junkie, i'm constantly journaling whereas before i hardly ever did!!! guess it depends on the person!

I joined and I love it. It is so much easier keeping count of your points. I just never had the time to go to the meetings.

I keep track of my points on it. I like it better than the book!

You can only join etools if you go to the meetings. You get the access code from the WW stuff they give you at the 1st meeting.Otherwise you have to join the whole thing online.

Re: Weight Watchers ONLINE... anybody try this?
I also think that e-tools is not the same as joining online, because otherwise, people would go to the first meeting, get the access code, and pay less every month. It's $14.95 a month for online subscriptions. If you're going to do WW, don't do it half-assed. It won't work. Either join meetings and get e-tools or join online.

I tried online for just 1 month. I didn't like it. It couldn't always get to a computer to look stuff up.

Re: Weight Watchers ONLINE... anybody try this?
I didn't really like it. I journaled all the time, but it didn't help me stick to the program. I do find that going to meetings makes a big difference, especially if you go with a friend or something. It gives you a conspirator I guess. I also failed at the meetings when my partner would stop going.
