Place for Bridal Shower near Nassau/Queens border?

A friend of mine is looking for a place to hold a shower for her daughter for around 80 people, preferably somewhere near the Queen-Nassau border... she would like to keep under $50 pp... any suggestions?? Thanks!

I think most places would be under $50pp. I was just at Davenport Press for a baby shower about 2 months ago. The food was excellent and they have a bunch of different rooms. I think it was somewhere in the $25-27pp range (plus tax and gratuity).

ETA: Forgot to say it's in Mineola.

Giardino's in Little Neck (Douglaston Pkwy); Marbella's in Bayside (Northern Blvd). Both are great. My shower was at Marbella's and our rehearsal dinner will be at Giardino's.

Not sure how many people it holds, but there is a great restaurant in Great Neck on Northern Blvd called Vespa. They have a private room and amazing food.

What about the New Hyde Park Inn or Umbertos? Both are near the border and I do not believe are more than $50pp. My sister-in-law had her bridal shower at the NHPI and the rehearsal dinner was at Umbertos. Both were delicious!

Cafe on the Green in Bayside is very nice. Right on the water. You can also try Villa Leone in Lake Success, I went to a Sweet 16 there and it was great - great food. I also really like Nick & Maggie's
