Spin on Favorite Memory - What is Your Earliest Childhood Memory?
I have a really good memory and remember quite a few things from when I was 2 1/2!!! I remember going with my parents to Disney World and being really scared of the toilet on the plane and crying on the Snow White ride because of the witch!!

Re: Spin on Favorite Memory - What is Your Earliest Childhood Memory?
Blue
I was born in Houston but shipped to Cuba almost two weeks later with my Dad. We lived there for almost three years. I remember fragments...
I remember the living room floor and rug, the sliding doors that led out back and the sun always being there.
I remember the blue... the water was so very very blue. I remember a pretty fish (later found out it was a parrot fish) that I called a birdy fish, pretty birdy fish.
I remember having TONS of ice cream for no reason (found out my brother had his tonsils removed and Dad had Ice cream flown in from US for him)
Last thing of there I remember is the children looking at me through the fence and my brother with the allegator (iquana) that he was afraid of.
My dad thought I didnt remember most of that until I asked why all the children were lined up from only a certain point on the fence, never past it, though there was no physical barrier. Found out it was because that's where the landmines started.

My first memory is from 18 months!!! My parents put a cowboy hat on me to take some pictures but I was fussy b/c I had an ear infection. I remember getting the hat out of the hall closet and standing in the living room. I love that we still have the pics from that.

I remember the day my sister was born. I was 2 yrs and 8 months old. I remember seeing my mom lying in the hospital bed by the window and I was wearing a blue dress.

I remember when I was between the ages of 4-7 my father was Chief of the Merrick Fire Department, and I would stand infront of his chief's car with his helmut on waiting for the next fire call. He use to let me press the siren while going to the calls.

Thats how my mom passed away, and almost the same scenario happened to me but i was 15 and my mom had each one of us come in her room by ourselves to say our goodbyes. It was like she knew it was her time to go.
