I gaurenteed my hall 150 people...how many people do I need to invite to actually get 150......I saw it somewhere ...now I can't find it

it all depends on your guests
will most of them come?

i have a list of people that i know are definately going to come

I wanted 100 people, so I invited 130, knowing that they say about 20 % will not show, low and behold- about 104 people came.

It depends on how many you have to invite but know will not be able to come. I would say close to the 200 range

200 is way too much ....to count on 50 not coming is a risk

I guaranteed 155... inviting about 250... we have many OOT guests so I am thinking will we have a higher 'no' percentage...

I agree. We had a 150 minimum, invited 190-ish, ended up with 134!

Ditto. But alo account for any out of town guest that you are inviting and are pretty sure they are not coming.

Our invitation list was about 285. About 20 of those people were out of town. We guarenteed 225 with that in mind.

I am in the same boast. We are actually kind of worried about making our minimum. We'll see how it is once invites go out.

I would invite 200 especially if you have alot of OOT guests. I also guaranteed 150 and I'm worrying that my room is going to be empty :( I invited 196 (not including bridal party) but have OOT guests. So far, I have 12 people that said no and 54 people that said YES :)
