Re: Adventura Spa Palace Cancun
i just came back last month. had a horrible experiance. food was bad, my fiance was sick every time he ate something, they were filming a soap opera and u couldn,t use certain parts of the hotel during filming, the beach was a joke, we went with my fil's and when we came home my mother in law ended up in the hospital for 3 weeks with a parasite in her lungs. she is still on oxygen and steroids and they say it could take up to a year to clear. i would never go back. we even wound up coming home a day early because we were so miserable.

Wow, that sucks, sorry you and your FIL had such a bad time. dita531, this is the first bad things I've heard about that resort. My friends went to the Moon Palace on their honeymoon and they absolutely loved it. I guess like eveything, it can be hit or miss.

Re: Adventura Spa Palace Cancun
I went there last December and feel the total opposite. I think it is agreat place to go for your honeymoon. We had an amazing time. We went for 16 days and it only rained once. Beautiful and sunny every day. The food was delicious and the staff were wonderful. The beach isn't as nice as we expected though. The water wasn't as clear as we though it would be but the pool and spa made up for it. Our vacation came with free massages, manicure and pedicure so we both went or our free aromatherapy massages and immediately after booked massages for the next 3 days. They were worth every penny. My FH and I were actually thinking about going back this year. I know Cancun is a party place, Ive been there several times, but the hotel is about an hour from Cancun so you are away from the party scene and can totally relax. We stayed at the resort the whole time except one night when we went with the hotel into Cancun to go to a few clubs and it was great, but if you do this don't drink too much only because the trip back to the hotel is an hour and a few people got sick and we had to pull over. I really can't say anthing bad we had a great time and cannot wait to go back.
ETA: We also took a boat over to Cozumel and had a great time walking around shopping and we ate lunch and dinner there.
Here are some pics. just copy and paste the link http://share.shutterfly.com/osi.jsp?i=EeAOWThmzaOGr7o
