Engagement Party - NYC

We're trying to arrange our engagement party in NYC - any suggestions on a place? Thanks!!

Hey everyone, i was telling some co-workers that my pictures are first thing in the morning and its a 12noon ceremony and cocktail and reception right after...they told me to really think about whether i wanna spoil that MOMENT when he first sees me... now they got me thinking ? is that soo horrible ?

we really dont have much choice...

Engagement Party - NYC

I threw an Engagement party for a co-worker at Arqua. It is downtown and the food is amazing. We had an open bar and 3 course dinner. They closed the entire restaurant for us since we were 70 people. The cost was approx. $85/head

Anna, I am doing the same thing...Who wants to miss an hour of their party taking pictures? I have friends who got married and took their pics beforehand, and they said that it wasn't ruined at all...The first glance of her walking down the aisle brought tears to his eyes, it made it all seem real...So don't worry!!!!

Engagement Party - NYC

Try Gemmelli's at the World Trade Center. Great food and atmosphere. And great view of the towers. If its warm can have cocktails and dancing outside on WTC plaza!

Heather - I don't know anything about this person except that the bridal consultant from our reception site (Leonard's of Great Neck) gave me her card.
