Question about looking for wedding dresses

Do I have to make an appt. to try on dresses at all bridal salons? What about Macy's and Davids Bridal? I feel so clueless about these things and I feel the need to start looking soon! Thanks ladies! By the way, I love our 05 Board!!!

ETA: How far in advance do I need to make appts? Thanks!

Yes all Bridal salons during the weekend you have to make an appointment during the week no. Macy's and David's Bridal do appointments only.

If you want a Saturday appointment you might want to make an appointment a week in advance. I decided to go spur of the moment a few times and could never get anything on a Saturday the day of. Bridal Reflections in Massapequa actually told me that a Saturday had booked almost 2 weeks in advance. I also was able to walk in to Bridal Suite in Bayshore without an appointment once. It really depends on how busy they are.
