Anyone have a good turkey recipe for Easter?

I was thinking of making a turkey...roast it, but was wondering if anyone had any good spices or seasonings for it? I usuallu just use butter and salt and pepper, but want to try something new...thanks!

I put Lawry's Seasoned Salt and Garlic Powder as well as butter on mine. It tastes so good.

Not a recipe but a good tip for the leftovers: If you put some broth (turkey or chicken) on the top before you put it in the fridge, it will be soooooooo moist.

Re: Anyone have a good turkey recipe for Easter?

What I do is make a bed of celery, carrots and onions for the turkey to rest on instead of using a rack- this takes about 2 bags of carrots and one of celery and a good 3 or 4 onions.

then I let a stick of butter sit out until soft... into that i mix 2 tablespoons of fresh rosemary, salt & pepper.. this gets 'stuffed' between the breast and skin of the turkey- nasty work - but tastes delish..

Re: Anyone have a good turkey recipe for Easter?

cut up a few lemons (depending on how big your bird is...maybe 2 or 3) and put that and an onion or 2 cut in half in the bird. I put squeeze margarine on the outside. The lemon gives it the BEST taste!!
