Halls with Chapels (or a separate room)?

Does your hall have a chapel or a separate room for ceremony?

So many try to pass off the dining room as the ceremony room, I don't want to do that.
I find that very few places have a nice INDOOR location, so I think this topic will help a lot of people. Of course, there are many places with outdoor ceremony sites, but I don't want bad weather to ruin my day. Thanks for sharing!

Re: Halls with Chapels (or a separate room)?

The George Washington Manor has a separate chapel on site. The Milleridge Cottage doesn't have a seperate chapel, but they have that beautiful atrium you could get married in.

Re: Halls with Chapels (or a separate room)?

I like the Swan Club's separate chapel alot. Then I decided to have the ceremony at the church so my priorities changed.

The Woodbury CC has the ceremony on an 'island' on a lake... I love that as long as it is a nice day of course.

Re: Halls with Chapels (or a separate room)?

Chateau La Mer is building a new chapel. The owner said he was kinda modelling it after the chapel at the Bellagio. One side will be all glass looking out onto the water.

I was just going to post this. This was one of the major factors in my decision - it was the only place that I was totally happy having the ceremony at. The room doubles as the ceremony and cocktail hour room.

Re: Halls with Chapels (or a separate room)?

My ceremony will take place in the Pavillion at the Swan Club...

It's really pretty - outside - next to the gardens - it's enclosed with lots of windows - open and airy feeling.

Check it out!

Re: Halls with Chapels (or a separate room)?

i picked the carlyle because fh and i fell in love with the ceremony room..i didn't go with one hall because i too didn't want my ch or reception to be in the same room as the ceremony if it rained..now i have nothing to worry about. edited for picture can't get the pic to work sorry.

Re: Halls with Chapels (or a separate room)?

Leonards has a separate chapel room, but if you are having 200+ people they use a small cocktail room..but fix it up...once the chairs are up and there is some sort of aisle and alter it will not look like a reception/cocktail room no matter where you go.
