Ring Bearer Age

Do ou think 9 (almost 10) is too old for a ring bearer? Our flower girl will be 4 and I'm not sure if it will look weird, since the ring bearer is 8 now and really tall. Or we could also have a 2.5 year old be the ring bearer but I don't know if that is too young. The 4 and 9 year old are FH's niece and nephew. However they have another sister who will be 1.5 (is this leaving her out)? Both parents are in the bridal party too.

Re: Ring Bearer Age

Jess---our ring bearer will be 8. I can't believe he'll be that big then! His sister will almost be 11----too old for a flower girl, so she is going to be a Jr. Bridesmaid.

We were think of having Baby Rach as a flowergirl, but at just over 2, we think she will be too young.

Re: Ring Bearer Age

I have 3 first cousins - A boy who will be 11 in July, his sister who will be 8 next month, and a second girl who will barely be 3 for the wedding.

The brother and sister are in my party as a Jr. Usher and FG, and the 3-year-old will probably not be there, as she's a VERY difficult 2-year-old. I originally wanted her to be FG with the 8-year-old, but my parents talked me out of it.

Re: Ring Bearer Age

We are having 2 ring bearers. 1- will be almost 5 and the other will be 19 months. The FG will be almost 3.

Thinking of having the 19 mo old (my nephew) walk down w/ my mom instead of the other kids.
