closing day today!!!!

I am so excited!!!
I go to close today....and I got the entire day off of work because the teacher's contract gives us a day for house closing!!!!
what a relief this will be - we found the place before thanksgiving.....and now, we're finally going to get it!!!

i am back from the closing and I have a new home!!!!!
and the best part is that the first mortgage payment isn't due until MAY 1st!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
woohoo!
we have to have some minor construction done and we should be moving in next weekend hopefully!!!
how exciting is this????
tom and i are sleeping there tonight.....JUST BECAUSE WE CAN!!!!!!!
