OOT Guest bags...
Not sure if you have Big Lots! out there in NY, but if you do, I just picked up some great bags for my OOT guest goodies - they came in blue, yellow, pink, and purple and had silver designs on them (hearts, starfish, or spirals) and silver wire handles. They were the perfect size and only 99 cents each!

When you have people staying at hotels you may want to give them a welcome bag. Really you decide what to put in it... water bottles, gum, chips, cookies... fun things like that. Some people give a bottle of wine. You can really do anything.

Re: OOT Guest bags...
I'm from San Diego - planning from here for now until I move to NY in June to be with my FI. A good chunk of my guests will be from out of town (OOT) so I'm planning on giving them bags with bottles of water, snacks, info about local attractions, maps, etc. After being on the boards for a little while, you just sort of pick this stuff up. :o) Let me know if I can help with anything else!

Re: OOT Guest bags...
That's great - it's tough but these boards are a godsend. It's my pleasure! As for hotels, I have a lot of time yet before the big day so I haven't tried blocking anything yet, but my experience is that hotels in general are just over-priced these days. My reception hall is pretty far out east, so I'm looking around out there.

Re: OOT Guest bags...
I got them at a Big Lots here in San Diego, but if they have Big Lots out there (I'm not sure if they do) I'd check them out. They were just what I was looking for! And they look really nice!Welcome New Vendors
