NICE Bridal Shower Location in East Suffolk?

We are looking to throw my FSIL a bridal shower. We would like it to be someplace pretty in the $20-30 price range. We are currently looking into Danfords, 3 Village Inn and Country House.

I just called the Country House and they said they start at $45pp!! No way can we do that.

Any other suggestions?

We also looked at Thatched Cottage (too high), Captain Bills (too high).

You might want to try the Riverview in Oakdale, beautiful location and I hear they do a very nice bridal shower/brunch. Good luck.

It is actually in Hauppauge. We had my sisters shower there. The place was fantastic! Here is the review I posted about my sister's shower.

We had my sister's shower at Blackwell's Country club last march. It's in Wading River. We liked the place so much we had her shower there and we're from Queens. it was under $20 p/p for a REALLY elegant, delicious brunch with omelettes, meats, salad, mozzerella, cheesecakes, you name it. ANd it was unlimited, they kept bringing more and more out. They have a general brunch on weekends, but you're not taking form that food, you have your own set up. We had about 40 people, and we had a room with a big fireplace (it was March). I can't brag enough about this place. It was so gorgeous and really reasonable. Soft drinks and juice were included as well as a champagne for a toast and one mimosa or bloody mary for each person. We had our own waitstaff, it was really fantastic and beautiful! I hope they have my shower there!

I had my sisters baby shower at the Jon Thomas Inn (Brightwaters) in July of 2003. The food and service were perfect. People are still talking about it. As a matter of fact I think my sister is considering it for my shower.
