I would say Moon Palace, but I don't know the other one. I only know Moon Palace because friends have a timeshare there and they absolutely rave about it all the time.

I only know Adventura and it was great so I voted that. If you want me to email you pictures of the resort - FM me you email address and I will. I went there for vacation last year. There were a bunch of honeymooners there.

Also, I met some people who had previously stayed at the Moon Palace...some said they liked Adventura better and come said the were comparable. I think I FM'ed girls on this site a review - so if you decide to go to Adventura let me know and I can look to see if I still have that in my sent mail and I will send to you.

I just had my honeymoon at Moon palace, as far as niceness goes, they are pretty equivalent, spa and moon are very similar, they both have the amazing pools, spa obviously has the spa services, but moon has ten restaruants, shows at night, a disco and is much closer to the other palace resorts and to cancun. We didnt care too much for cancun as far as shopping going out, we spent most of our time in Playa Del carmen, but alot of our tours were out of cancun, so being at Moon it was much closer, spa palace really isnt close too much! If you dont plan on leaving the resort and want alot of spa treatemnts, than spa palace is great, but if you want to venture out and see soem sights, go on some tours, then moon palace is the way to go. We were able to parasail right off the pier at Moon palace, they have a decent beach, where as Spa doesnt really have a beach at all. We also rentted these little mini scooters, like a moped, thetour drops you off to teh bottm of the ocean and you ride your little moped around, your head is ina bubble, that was fun and the tour went out of cancun, let me know if you have any questions, we were there 11 days and went all over, Id be glad to tell ya who had teh cheapest tours, etc, best restaurants, moon palace itself has TWO resorts, Nizuc palace and sunrise palace, they also offer a shuttle to the other palace resorts, except for X pu ha and spa, so we just rented a care for thoe and drove all over mexcio, good luck with yoru decision..you will have a blast no matter what!!!

We went to Moon Palace, beautiful, rooms with Jacuzzi, gorgoeus bathrooms and the pool unbelievable--BUT not couples only, tons of families too. For honeymoon I would say the Adventura, I believe it is all couples, few$$ more but well worth the privacy!! Not romantic when you are at the pool and 10 year olds are doing cannonballs!!

I would pick the Aventura Spa b/c that's where we're going on our honeymoon!!!

I don't know Adnetura...but I stayed at Moon Palace for Spring Break when I was in college and it was really nice there!!! Just try not to go ther during Spring Break time....HA!!!!!!!

I have been to both the Moon Palace and Spa Palace within the past 2 years and although we had great experiences at both I would recommend the spa palace. The moon palace is much closer to downtown cancun, so if you are interested in going to the clubs that is your best bet. The only disappointment was the beach. The water is not what I thought it was going to be. The pool made up for it though. It is huge. The pool goes from one end to the hotel to the other. We spent most of our time in there. Being that it was so close to the other palace resorts we spent a few days at the beach and cancun palace which is another convenience of staying at the moon palace.

The aventura palace was amazing. The beach was much nicer (clear water) and it is much more laid back than moon palace. If you go you must experience the spa. Neither my FH or I thought we would enjoy the spa treatments but we went for one, massages in a hut over the ocean, and wound up booking treatments fro the next 4 days. The other advantage is you can take a ferry , about a 25 min ride, over to cozumel and spend the day there which we did and had a great time. The food and staff were amzing at both hotels and you can't go wrong either way it just depends on what you want to spend your time doing.

I have almost the same pictures of the Adventura Palace!

Oh I forgot Adventura is adults only and it was nice. I haven't been to many resorts that was adults only but it made such a nice difference!

We were just at Adventura Spa Palace in October for our Honeymoon and it was AMAZING!!!! The service and the food and entertainment were all terrific! We were already talking about going there for our 1st anniversory but now we will be spending that in the hospital Good Luck to you!!!!

LOL, I have more but they are on my Mac and I cant post them from there. I am pretty sure both of the resorts are adults only. Thats why we chose them

Both places look great, but I'm afaid of FH getting bored. We definitely want to enjoy our , and not worry about kids seeing us make out or anything.

my parents went to moon palace last year for a business trip and all they did was talk about how nice it was and they have a hot tub in the room too!

plus my parents mentioned they didnt see any kids and they went in march which is spring break time!

We are going to Aventura for our honeymoon!!!!!!!!!!!! It looks beautiful.
I have been wanting to go there ever since I was in Riviera Maya last
summer (at another resort) and got a brochure for it. I am really looking
forward to all the spa packages they have. I know they will be extra but
since the rest is all-inclusive, I don't mind spending the few extra bucks.
I have looked at so many other places for honeymoons, but I feel that
this resort just gives us more for our money, know what I mean?
anyways, now all we have to do is book it I guess

The Moon Palace would be closer than the Aventura Palace to downtown Cancun (even from the Moon, its like a 25 minute bus ride to downtown, I think). From what my clients have told me, the beach at the Aventura is nicer. The Moon sometimes has alot of seaweed in the water but if you are pool person, the pools are much better at the Moon. How many times would you go to the Downtown area? or the other Palace hotels (Cancun Palace, Beach Palace or Sun Palace)

Just my opinions....
