All May brides... seriously how early can I send out invites?

I know the whole 8 weeks before is the norm but really how early can I send them out without it being too early?

I was planning on sending on my birthday (the 26th) but if I can get the one address I am still waiting for, I may send them on Saturday. had it snowed today & I work from home, I was thinking about foing them today!

My wedding is the 14th. We are mailing our invites out on March 1st. ( I guess that would be just about 10 weeks.)

I'm sending mine out the first week in March

about 7 to 8 weeks before

I am not sure if you meant this for me to respond

but i will anyway. My RSVP date is April 27th. You had you RSVP's early huh. At least it gives you time to hunt everyone down who doesn't respond. Does that mean you sent them out already?

I'm HOPING to send mine out the first week in March... but my calligrapher isn't making me feel so secure.
I told him i wanted to send them out in two weeks, the latest. He says 'why so early?' i said 'Thats NOT early! THats 8 weeks from my wedding which is when i SHOULD send them out!!!' it scares me a little that he doesn't know that!
