Family drama - Shower help, please!

To make a long story short, my mom and her sisters had a falling out over the summer and no one is speaking to each other, including us cousins. Even though there are a lot of hurt feelings, I think everyone wants to put it behind them but no one knows how.

I feel that if I don't invite them to the shower, it will make this rift permanent, so I want them there, for my mom's sake.

If I do invite them and they don't show, that's ok with me, my mom never has to know they were invited....

Question: I want to include a quote in the shower invitation about the importance of family and friends....something that will touch them, and all my guests, but nothing about the disagreements,

can you help me find something???
