Hair Salon in Nassau County?

Does anyone know of a good hair salon in Nassau County - preferably close to Mineola?

Annastasia's on Franklin Ave in Garden City or City Slickers in Baldwin. Not close to Mineola, I know, but very good salons.

I go to Salon Blue in Carle Place (Westbury Ave) - they're small but very friendly and do a great job

Lori,

William Matt Salon in Westbury on right across from Bridal Reflections!!
They do great work. A little on the pricey side though (IMO)
Dawn Maucieri (From HS) goes there, or did
been a long time since i was there.
But I used to run into her all the time.
You teachers are everywhere!!

Second on City Slickers - I went there for a trial (with the now famous Taralei) and LOVED it! I'm contemplating going back there for my regular salon!

I used to go there, but didn't care for the attitude of the owners!

The kicker was the colorist giving me a hard time about blow drying my hair when it was 15 degrees outside....and I already had a cold! All because she wanted to go home!

After that, I found another place

I have been getting my haircut by Vincent at Nubest & Co. in Manhasset for 13 years - $48.
I can't rave enough about him!

Ahh I used to go to Vincent too but then he got too booked up and I couldn't stand to wait! He did cut well though!

That's great. Lisa at CS used to cut my hair, but I wanted a change of pace. And I went to elementary school with Taralei. Good choice!!

Whenever I am home I go to City Slickers (I have had Taralei and Vinnie cut my hair) or Salon Osio in Oceanside. I love that place
