What are some things you think women should do/accomplish before getting married???

I have lots of ideas. I'll post only one for now because I want to see what you all have to say!

*Learn to be handy at something...we can't wait for the guys to do it all the time!!! Besides, if your FH's are anything like my DH is...things will never get done or fixed!!!!!!!

*Live on your own (not necessarily alone) for at least a little while.

Live alone.
Have their heart broken so that they know how lucky they are to have someone to love them.
Travel alone.
Know what they want to do with their lives.


Gosh, there are so many more things, but I can't think of them right now.

have a checking account and know how to balance a checkbook.
learn to drive wherever and not be inimidated by suvs (hee hee)
experience a broken heart
have a full time job
visit the gynocologist and learn how to take care of sexual health (sounds silly but its true)
travel alone
do your tax return.
become friends with your mom.

I'm learning...even married...and even with a handy husband...that I need to be handy as well...if I want it done NOW!!

To do something for yourself...by yourself...(for me that was buying a car)

To know and to show everyone your stregnths but more importantly know your weaknesses.

To party with your friends to the point of insanity...

know how to find a stud...in your wall that is!
visit an...ahem...adult shop (i can't believe i said it!)
babysit overnight!!! yeah, that's birth control.
have a pet (that you feed, not your mom)
