I am taking some pics in the lobby and outside and very few in the Monet room. We are going to a local park for most of our pictures and of course we will have the church photos.Didnt they tell you about Old Westbury Gardens? You can use them for a $275-$475 fee.

We are taking pictures in the courtyard and the inside of CB. By the time we get out of the church it will be close to 5:00pm ish and we are not seeing each other before the ceremony so we won't have many outside pics. We do plan on making a pit stop and taking pics at my house with our two dogs right after the ceremony. They will each be dressed as a bride and groom.

I live in Queens and I am going to a park near the Whitestone Bridge. Nothing overly special, it just means something to us cause we live near it. The gardens sounded nice but were not in my budget either!

Re: Let's have an official Chateau Briand thread....
Yay, I was thinking of starting a CB thread! Great idea, HBRadio! We're getting married in Da Vinci, Cocktail in Europa and reception in Normandy! I'm very excited about the whole thing.
As for our vendors, all of our big vendors are Scotto recommended:
Florist - Chris from Perfect Wedding Planner, who I swear was put on this earth to do the flowers for our wedding. He's so talented, and he gave me the best price. Wouldn't you know that the flowers were my least important element, and he's my favorite vendor. Go Fig.
Photo/Video: Cassarino. They got a lot of mixed reviews, but we met with Razz and we really clicked with him. I told him my concerns and he was completely honest with me, so I feel pretty good about him.
DJ: Bravo Sound. I know guys at both Bravo and Body Rock, and I felt Bravo was as good for significantly less money. As a result, my buddy AJ is going to be our MC!

Limos: Alexis. We got a really good deal from them and I liked their limos' interiors better than Royalty.
I will probably also call Patti from Beautiful Beginnings to ask about a trial, but I'm seeing Jenn from FT tonight so who knows.
I stopped over at Chateau Briand to drop off a payment the other day. I had a chance to sit and talk to Kerry, my banquet manager, and she is just the best. I love dealing with everyone at Scotto - they make everything so much easier!!!!!!!!!!!!
