Is anyone good with computers?..I'm having a problem with my printer

I'm printing the adresses on outer envelopes and there is a hint of black ink along thetop edge of the evelope. Nothing huge but it is bothering the hell out of me since we paid money for these evelopes. THis is the first time I'm having this problem and I got the printer in June. Can anyone help?

Check your printer software settings and see if there is a button that allows you to clean the printer nozzles. It sounds like a problem similar to one I've had and that helped.

I tried that and now it is so much worse! Now there's black ink everywhere...it ruined some of my invitation envelopes! I don't know what to do....

i used them for my wedding invitations!
