calling all January 9th 2004 brides!!! check in and tell me a little about your big day. im getting married in st matthias church in queens and then my reception is at the chateau briand in the leonardo davinci room. im doing a winter wonderland theme with my colors being deep purple and silver and white. the girls in my wedding party are wearing purple velvet with white faux fur shawls. my flowergirl is wearing deep purple velvet on the top and her dress bottom is lavnder organza. she also is having a faux fur cape. im having a white velvet coat made to go over my dress with fur trim. what are you doing for favors? centerpieces? personal flowers? im having a lot of white birch trees all over the reception hall and my centerpieces are these adorable winter wizard or st nich time statues by mikasa. tell me all about you day!!!!

WE have 17 days left!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
My girls are wearing black, we are going with very simple bouquets, and Im wearing a cape that was made for me with maribou fur trim around the cape and hood, its BEAUTIFUL..we have fireplaces...I praying for a bit of snow!!!!
I just cant think straght these days!!!

i would like a dusting of snow on the trees but im praying to have a none blizzard wedding day. i felt so bad for those brides that got married 2 weekends ago during the storm. i would still go ahead but i have a lot of guests that are coming from way out east and i wouldnt expect them to rish the roads and come. thats so cool that your girls are wearing black thats very elegant. i decided on purple because its my favorite color i needed to incorporate it into my wedding somehow so thats how i did it. the reception is going to be mostly white and silver. the flowers that im using in my centerpieces will be all white and im using white chair covers and tables cloths with a almost icy looking overlay. do you add any special touches?

My girls were orignially going to wear a cdeep burgendy, but one sis got pregnant and it was very hard to find decent maternity formals, so I switched my colors to black because shed have better luck finding a nicer dress..and then as I looked at photographers..i saw so many beautiful pictures with the black that I fell in love with it!! I think it is elegant, but yoru color purple sounds very nice too!!!
