To the married ladies - about photos

I'm confused on how to put my album together.

I have the ceremony, reception, bride & groom, bridal party and families. What order does it go in.

Ceremony, families, bridal party, us, reception.

Usually, the album starts with the bride at her house. Then bride with parent, bridesmaids (if they're there). The ceremony. Then you and your groom together and separately. Then reception. And a final shot or shots of the 2 of you.

definitely ask your photographer. They know how this works better than I do. But that's how I think it works.

I went to a wedding there last night and it was wonderful. The bride & groom had a 2 star menu. They had a killer band called Current Affair that had the place up all night! Good Luck

Your album should tell a story - the story of how the day unfolded. With the exception of a few shots (like the invite or a nice one to be the last page), it should go in chronological order.

Doesn't your studio offer a planning session? Mine was inc. in my package

Anybody got any comments about any of these?

I'm sure the Patken does offer a planing session, unfortunatley I live in California.

I spoke to them today and they said it should go in chronological order also. Ceremony, then family, bridal party, us, then reception.

Choosing pctures is so hard.

I had a hard time too. So many to choose from!

Are you keeping your proofs? one of my comforts was that I would be able to make an album w/all the photos that were taken at my wedding - even if they aren't all 8x10 :)

Choosing pctures is so hard.
