Baby's First Christmas

I have been racking my brain to come up with a unique amazing gift for my firends new baby( the one who had the baby in her bathroom

)

What have the BTDT Mom's received and loved? She has already received tons of ornaments (one even before the baby was born!!!)

I would like to get something memorable, possibly personalized...

Any suggestions would be great

Hi Laura:

I am thinking the same thing for my friend who just had a baby. Instead of a 'baby's first' present, I bought the little guy a Fordham sweatshirt and bib, since that's where his parents went to college.

I think Tiffany's silver rattle is a nice first Christmas present, if you want something a little super-nice.

Also, a copy of The Night Before Christmas with a note inside form you to the baby would be a good gift, sort of a keepsake too.

maybe some type of ornament too?? - i still have several from my 1st christmas and they have survived well over the years....its fun putting them up b/c they remind me of som nay people in my family who bought them for me and all the good times we had together!

i was in Best Buy yesterday and they had the most gorgeous hardcover book of the Disney stories. I think it was titled the Disney Storybook collection. I got one for my god daughter and am going to put a nice inscription in it. I know my cousin mentioned she already got 6 'Baby's First Christmas' ornament, so I wanted to stay away from that.
