Need ideas on how dad could surprise mom!

Dad planned a trip to Vegas for he and my mom for both their anniversary her b-day..

Any ideas on how he should tell her?

Keep in mind their anniversary is on Turkey Day..

my dad rarely buys presents for my mom...b/c she will return them...so she usually buys her own presents (it works for them)

on V-day or B-day my dad bought her a huge ruby necklace (her birthstone) and hung it up on the bathroom mirror in the middle of the night...he wanted her to see it in the morning...but she woke up in the night to go to the bathroom and had the shock of her life...

how about getting a deck of playing cards and having her open them and he can write on them something like....use these well in Vegas Baby!!

WOW!! but my mom is like half blind lol she won't be able to see what the e-ticket sheet says.. and she is a clean-o-holic, that she'll throw it out thinking it's garbage lol

marcella, this may be too cheesey but do you guys say what you are thankful for? your dad can tell her then, in front of everyone! or, he can write SURPRISE on her plate in mashed potatoes? LOL or, he can videotape a message to her and pretend he is going to turn on the tv to watch the parade and voila its him!

And then giving it to her just before dinner or something
